Check in was super customer friendly; Location was excellent right across from a beautiful park and 1.5 blocks from the old town and about 4 blocks from beautiful concha beach; room was very modern and comfortable with great A/C; bathroom was very modern and comfortable with fantastic rain drop shower. Excellent buffet breakfast at a reasonable price downstairs in a large comfortable room.

The building is architecturally beautiful, the interior design fuses modern, traditional and high-tech functionality. Very clean and modern. Fantastic location to explore the beaches and old town. Located on a quiet square (inc small pond with resident swans) where buses depart for the airport. Good breakfast, mostly friendly and helpful personnel. 24 hour pharmacy across the street, small supermarket just up the street.

The whole hotel was perfect for us. Great location in Centro especially great for a first visit to San Sebastian, everything is walking distance. Wonderful staff at breakfast and reception. Rooms made up perfectly every day and personal messages left, even gifts of foodie treats! Great bar/restaurant next door is owned by the same hotel so you can charge your late night drinks to your room with discount. Room Mate Gorka was everything we wanted. We could not be happier to recommend it!

The room was excellent. We had a duplex room that was super comfortable, spacious ,very well decorated and fully renovated. The room was well equipped with toiletries, a water bottle, mini bar/fridge, coffee maker and even a wine opener. The breakfast was very good, quality of food was superb and the staff do a great effort to make you feel pampered. The location is fantastic if you are want to enjoy the city center vibe and the old side of the city. I will definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you don't have a car.

The location of this hotel was excellent perfectly placed within walking distance of all main areas of San Sebastián . The staff were extremely helpful and were able to cope with a range of queries.

Great location, with easy access to the old town and the more commercial, shopping areas. The beach is less than a 10 min walk away. The room was good. Comfortable bed and a good size ensuite. Breakfast was good, just enough variety and a fair amount of fresh fruit.

From arrival to departure, we felt very welcome by the front desk staff and the restaurant staff. Everyone was very friendly and spoke English. The buffet breakfast offered a nice variety of delicious food and included Bloody Mary’s. Our only criticism of the entire stay, was the lack of hot breakfast food. Scrambled eggs and bacon were offered cold. The bar and restaurant served delicious drinks and tapas. Our executive room was very clean and comfortable with a nice view of the park across the street. Location was perfect with a short walk to the beautiful beach on The Bay of Biscay, the Hop on and off bus, old town, and other attractions.

My husband and I had a very enjoyable stay in San Sebastián thanks to the staff at Room Mate Gorka. The location was great and the rooms comfortable. Widad and Muaro, on reception were very friendly and helpful as were all the reception staff we experienced. Thanks again Muaro for assisting us in booking our bus tickets to the airport after I had booked them incorrectly. Would definitely stay again if returning to San Sebastián.
